Cathy Symonds (Costume Designer): “How To Succeed in Business” is the second show Cathy Symonds has costumed for Brass Rail Players. Earlier this season, she costumed “The Passion of Dracula” for BRP and three shows – “Wait Until Dark,” “Curtains” and “Annie” - for Looking Glass Playhouse in Lebanon. Just in case this theater gig doesn’t pan out, she is planning to hang on to her paying job as a member of the nursing faculty at McKendree University.

Cathy Symonds enjoys costuming as it enables her to both feed her sewing habit and explore all those great fashions she doesn’t get to wear herself. Since arriving in Illinois from Guam five years ago, she has had fun working with shows for the Looking Glass Playhouse in Lebanon and for her kids’ school events. In her spare time, she teaches nursing at McKendree University.
