Dan Schmid (Larry Vauxhall/Scrooge) has never read the original A Christmas Carol but is often considered a Scrooge, so he feels adequately prepared for this show. Recently, he was in his first musical, playing the character of Glen in BRP’s The Wedding Singer. Other productions include Don’ t Drink the Water and Perfect Wedding with Monroe Actors Stage Company, A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Clayton Community Theatre, and The Glass Menagerie and Fully Committed at McKendree University . As always, he cannot thank his parents, sisters, and fiancée enough for their limitless love and support.

Dan Schmid (Glen) hopes that being cast as the insufferable jerk that is Glen is no reflection of how he is thought of by his peers. Regardless, he’s thrilled to be in his first musical. Recently, he has been on stage in the Clayton Community Theatre production of "A Midsummer Night’s Dream." Other productions include "Don’t Drink the Water," "A Perfect Wedding" and "Harvey" with Monroe Actors Stage Company, and ""The Glass Menagerie," "Fully Committed" and "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" at McKendree University. As always, he cannot thank his parents, sisters, and girlfriend enough for their limitless love and support.
